Photo Shoot Sneak Peak

Today, we had a photo shoot with the incredibly talented Tonya from Tonya Joy Photography. We are so lucky to have had her creative eye and can't wait to see the final pictures. Here are some pictures I took myself so expect the professional ones to be much better. I will link to her site if she puts some up on her blog as her own sneak peak too.

A girl can never be too young to start her love of shoes....

Nursery update

Well even after Papa Frank trying to help set-up the crib Brett soon realized that Bergstrom's would need to come out and fix it. The screws sent were the wrong size.
A crew from Bergstrom's came out today and brought the correct size screws and hooray we have a crib! Here is a quick shot with the extra special cherry blossom bedding. More pictures will follow once the rest of the room is in place.

Small Kate, big crib!

Dad thought he didn't need to pay the extra $100 to have the furniture set-up; he could do it himself! Ask him if he still thinks that now...

Happy Valentine's Day!

Animals and babies just don't cooperate when you are trying to get a cute picture in a special outfit.

Dad helping can be beneficial.

Today Kate's umbilical cord stump fell off. I am so glad because it was really creeping us out. I was always afraid that it was getting rubbed to hard by her clothes or diaper. Plus it just looked nasty. Now, all she has left is a big belly button and some left-over cord debris in the center. Hopefully that comes off too. The good news is that we can give her a real bath now. I can't wait to bust out our super awesome baby spa.

On a related note, we signed up at the Cord Blood Registry so we can save Kate's stem cells for future medical use if needed. The CBR called to confirm that they received the collection and told us that they usually look for 100,000 cells and Kate's sample had 1 billion! I knew she was a super baby.
