Dear Family and Friends:

I am participating in the 17th Annual CHOC/Disneyland_® Resort Walk in the Park, and I need your help. As a walker, I'm trying to raise as much money as I can to help the children of CHOC. Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) is a very special place where any child can receive the medical attention they need, regardless of their ability to pay. Last year, the CHOC Walk raised over $1 Million to help pay for this medical care and this year our goal is to raise even more! This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the 150,000 children who visit CHOC each year. Any support you can offer is greatly appreciated.

The main reason I am doing this is because one of the baby girls in Kate’s Gymboree class is very sick and her mother let us know about the walk. Abby is almost a year old and weighs just 13 lbs. She has had a lot of surgeries over the past 6 months and is on a feeding tube – her mom carries the bag on her shoulder when we are in class. Their family loves the CHOC doctors and staff and is spreading the word to help the hospital out.

Catching up! 8 months old!

Wow, work and life has just been really busy lately. Or is it all the fall season premieres? Anyway, on October 1, Kate turned eight months old! She definitely is forming a little personality and knows exactly what she wants. She crawls everywhere and pulls herself up and can stand with no hands for quite a while. I could hardly get her to stay still for these shots. However, I think walking is still far off. Here are some shots I snapped for her monthly mommy pictures in the rocking chair.
