The most spoiled puppies

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of having my mom, her close friend Marilyn and Marilyn's niece Lisa over to visit. Lisa and her husband recently moved to my neighborhood and are busy making their house into a home.

Well, I came to find out that Lisa is "mother" to two privelaged 3LB Yorkies and that their room (yes, they have their own room) is already the most situated. Their room is pink with a Hello Kitty theme and I think she said they have their own beds in there.

But, I haven't gotten to the most extraordinary part yet. The pictures posted below are real and undoctored. Yes, this is a closet full of doggie clothes ladies and gentlemen. A whole closet full. Rows of them. Neatly hung on hangers. Kate doesn't have this many clothes.

I plan to get to know Lisa better and these Yorkies of hers. I mean I have to meet them for goodness sakes, they are dogs with a wardrobe! Perhaps we will do a doggy fashion show and I can post the pictures here!

Getting stronger

Kate was visited by her great-grandpa Charlie the other day and this time I remembered to take a picture!I try to give Kate as much "tummy-time" as possible so she can develop her upper body strength. Most of the time she hates it. However, when I snapped these pictures she was doing an excellent job of lifting her little head up. Sometimes she tries so hard that her legs go up in the air! I hope she starts to unclench her hands soon because right now she looks like a character from Southpark!

I randomly entered a pictured of Kate and Corky in a photo contest that Snapfish is holding. I just realized that it was supposed to be of baby pets. Oh well, they took it anyway.
