Catching up!

Today, it is freezing here in southern california but I like it. This morning, on the way to the gym the view was breathtaking. I saw a few people pulled over to take pictures. It is clear and crisp and I could see the entire valley and snow-topped mountains, and all the way to the cluster of high-rises in downtown LA. Clear as a bell. I even saw some mountains behind LA which I have never seen before! I think it was the grapevine.

Below are Kate's much past due 10-month pictures that I took. And, you will also see her scary encounter with Santa Claus. She was happy all the way up to sitting in his lap. Maybe next year we will get a smile.
